Andres Felipe Jimenez, MD is an internationally trained physician with a strong foundation in internal medicine, preventive care, and surgical care. He brings over a decade of diverse clinical care and research experience, both in Colombia and recently, the United States.
Dr. Jimenez earned his medical degree from Universidad Libre in Cali, Colombia, and has since served in critical roles across emergency departments, operating rooms, and research facilities.
His clinical background includes ICU and inpatient care, surgical assistance, urgent care, and outpatient procedures, with technical expertise ranging from phlebotomy to advanced surgical techniques. Since 2011, he has actively contributed to over 30 clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas, including infectious diseases, women’s health, cardiovascular medicine, and vaccines. His roles have spanned site startup, regulatory compliance, patient coordination, and sponsor audit preparation.
Currently serving in Clinical Research Operations at Emerson Clinical Research Institute in Washington, DC, Dr. Jimenez is certified by ECFMG, holds multiple GCP and NIH credentials, and is affiliated with professional organizations such as As medicos. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he combines medical knowledge with research acumen and a passion for patient-centered care.
