Lucia Muñoz

Lucia Muñoz is the Research Director at Emerson Clinical Research Institute.
She oversees clinical research across six sites located in Virginia, Washington, D.C., and two hospital-based locations in New Jersey and Chicago. With five years of experience, she has developed a strong foundation in ophthalmology and multi-site management, along with expanding expertise across diverse therapeutic areas including pediatrics, vaccines, infectious diseases, cardiometabolic conditions, and more. Lucia brings extensive knowledge in research operations, site leadership, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Lucia holds a B.A. in Medical Anthropology from the University of Virginia and is currently pursuing her M.S. in Healthcare Management at Johns Hopkins University.
