Mitesh Patel – Gastroenterologist
Gastroenterologist and Clinical Investigator at ECRI, dedicated to advancing patient care through research and community health.
Dr. Patel grew up in Tucson, Arizona where he learned to speak Spanish and received his Medical Degree at the University of Arizona in 2004.
He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center (NY) followed by Gastroenterology Fellowship at the Montefiore Medical Center of Albert Einstein College of Medicine (NY). He spent 10 years caring for patients in the hospital setting of Washington Hospital Center followed by time spent in the community caring for ambulatory patients at Mary’s Center Medical Clinic. Since 2022, he has provided his Gastroenterology expertise to the Emerson Clinical Research Institute as a Clinical Investigator on numerous studies.
