Noah Barnes
Lead Site Coordinator at ECRI, managing multi-site trials with a focus on research integrity and inclusive patient recruitment.
After moving back to the DMV area from Lima, Peru, Noah joined ECRI in early 2025. He currently serves as the Lead Site Coordinator, managing clinical trials across all three ECRI locations in Washington, D.C. and Virginia.
He brings a strong background in both clinical research and patient engagement to the role, with a focus on operational excellence and inclusive recruitment.
Noah is a graduate of the University of Maryland, where he played Division-I American football as a tight end for the Maryland Terrapins from 2016 to 2019. He later earned a Master of Science in Integrative Medicine and Health Sciences from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., where he developed a deeper interest in research and evidence-based medicine. He will receive his ACRP-CP certification in 2025.
He began his clinical research career in 2022 as a bilingual site coordinator and surgical assistant at one of the highest-enrolling retinal research sites in South Florida. He then worked for a medical imaging reading center supporting global trials, before joining ECRI.
Noah is committed to promoting research integrity and ensuring trial populations better reflect the racial and ethnic demographics of the United States. Outside of work, he enjoys lifting weights, running, reading, playing basketball, learning languages, and visiting coffee shops with his partner.
